The Series

Setter Studios partnered with SMG to create a series of branded mini-documentary films designed to elevate their customer success storytelling through cinematic, human-centered content.

The goal was to move beyond traditional written case studies and create emotionally engaging films that showcased the real-world impact of SMG’s customer experience partnership model through the voices of their clients.

The series featured two of SMG’s partners — Northgate Market and Pollo Campero — highlighting how each organization leveraged customer insights, operational strategy, and service excellence to strengthen customer loyalty and business performance..

What We Did

Setter Studios handled the creative direction, interview development, production, cinematography, and post-production for both films.

We approached each piece as a documentary rather than a corporate testimonial — focusing on authentic leadership stories, operational culture, and the human side of customer experience transformation.

The films combined:

  • Hosting Executive interviews

  • On-location production

  • Operational and customer interaction footage

  • Brand-driven visual storytelling

  • Documentary-style editing and pacing
